Welcome and congratulations on finding me.

Dad-design.co.uk is a small site/business run from my home address in sunny Crystal Palace South East London. 

I come from an art history/design background and love all things mid-century, whether its furniture, art, ceramics, fashion, photography, automobiles, even old vintage bikes I simply love the period.

I suppose you could say my biggest focus though is British, Scandinavian, European and American furniture and design circa 1949-1969. To me this period defines a seminal moment as far as embracing the new modernity is concerned.

Like most other dealers/collectors I began trawling boot sales and markets looking for vintage bargains many years ago. And what started out initially as an early morning hobby has slowly over a period of probably 15 years evolved finally into a small business.

I continue to buy only what I like, and hope you like it too. I am more than happy to source certain pieces for you and I'm always up for a nerdy natter (anoraks optional), so feel free to get in touch.

As stated I am based in Crystal Palace which is in London SE19. The nearest mainline train stations are Sydenham Hill and Gipsy Hill, I  am  5 mins away from these and can pick you up, both are accessible from either Victoria or London Bridge and the journey is approx 20 mins.
